Deborah Jessen
Hospital Administrator
Deborah has been the hospital administrator since its purchase by Dr. Jessen in 1997 and she loves working with the staff, clients, and their “fur-people.” She has a degree in liberal arts and is a certified occupational therapy assistant. During her “off” time, she enjoys scuba diving, gardening, travel, and reading. “Fur-people” residing in her home include Winston and Doolin, two Bengal cats, and cross-eyed Baboo from the SPCA.
Shannon

Shannon has been with the Harrisonburg Animal Hospital since 2005, working at the front desk. She loves working here and helping the clients care for their four-legged children. She has the same love and devotion for her own four-legged kids (she has three of them). They get away with a lot more than her two teenagers do! In her spare time, she loves reading, watching movies, and spending time with her family.

She is also a member of JMU and US Lacrosse Hall of Fame.

After work, she enjoys farming, horseback riding, and spending time with her husband.
Brandy

Brandy has been employed by the Harrisonburg Animal Hospital since 1997, and as she administrative assistant, she provides customer care at the front desk. She enjoys her job because she gets to work closely with the clients to help them with their pet’s needs and is happy to be a part of serving clients and helping their pets. She is married and does not have children, but she considers her pets to be her kids! She enjoys reading, watching movies, and fishing in her spare time.
Leslie

Leslie, who has been with the Harrisonburg Animal Hospital since 2000, works at the front desk where she gets to help both pets and their owners. She currently shares her home with many different four-legged family members.
