Meet Dr. Richard (Terry) Jessen, he has a passion for veterinary medicine and is committed to your pet’s health. Veterinary medicine is his fourth—and favorite!—career and he believes that being a veterinarian is his way of helping people, through their pets! His previous degrees include neurophysiology and pharmacy, and they contribute to his ability to provide excellent healthcare to your pet. In his spare time, Dr. Jessen enjoys going to the lake, boating, and motorcycling, and he loves to fix things!
Maureen Ward
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Maureen Ward comes to Harrisonburg Animal Hospital from VCU and Virginia Tech where she earned her degrees in Veterinary Medicine. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband, Dave, her two dogs, and her crazy cat. She loves to travel, spend time outside, and garden.
