Here at Harrisonburg Animal Hospital, we are committed to your pet’s health. Since 1997, Dr. Richard (Terry) Jessen, and his staff, have excelled in compassionate veterinary care, and we are proud to be the only American Animal Hospital Association accredited hospital in the Harrisonburg area.

We’re a full-service hospital, offering emergency, medical, surgical, and dental services, as well as an in-house pharmacy. We’re dedicated to the very highest standard of pet care, which is proven by our accreditation with AAHA! Our friendly veterinary staff promises to provide you with excellent care and communication, and plenty of scratches behind the ear for your furry friends, because pet care is what we do.

Emergency

We are open for appointments and emergencies during normal business hours and on Saturday mornings.

After hour emergencies are referred to the Shenandoah Valley Regional Emergency Service
